Lyra was born in a Wizarding prison called Azkaban, a year after He Who Must Not Be Named was defeated. she had been taken away from her mother when she was barely an hour old.
They took her to the ministry of magic where she was adopted by a kind couple.

Fast forward 14 years and Lyra, now named Elizabeth Smith is going into her 4th year in Slytherin House.

As she begins to learn who her true friends are, she is surrounded by new faces, and the news of the possble return of He Who Must Not Be Named, she quickly begins to question everything she's been told when she receives life changing news from home. 

Struggling to cope with everything, Elizabeth confines in her small circle of friends, only to be hit with even more knowledge then she ever asked for.

Lyra loved Lupin and Tonks more than anything, so it hurt for her to leave them behind, but she had to get away to stay alive and protect everyone she loved. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had.
