She feels safe standing next to him. Like it's the two of them against the world. No one else could break them.
Not when they stood together...
Back to back; he took a step.
Sooner or later he turned his back and shot her in the heart.
Now he's apologizing.
As if he had no idea what he was doing.
Every word is just another bullet.
and everytime he says three words.
Three words that patches up the holes he left, with tape. Three words that makes the pain so much worse.
Her friends are going along with it.
Their having fun watching her suffer.
He's the bullets in her head as well as the gun in her hand.
He protects her.
But only to destroy her himself.
"I'd never let anything hurt you"
If only he knew what's hurting her.
Only if her thoughts could reach him.
Does he know that she gave up a long time ago? That her life is always his to take.
Just another lie, becomes another reason she can't take her own life but the exact reasons she wants to.
