(Y/N) has finally moved from her hometown and to Fairvale, California, in hopes of a fresh start and some peace. She has no house yet, and stops at the Bates Motel in the meantime. Just until she finds a place. It seems too good to be true. The motel is great - she doesn't understand why more people don't check in.

But the longer she stays, the more secrets she uncovers. (Y/N) begins to slowly piece together the puzzle of history surrounding the Bates family and their business. Despite the strange circumstances, she gradually falls for the young manager, Norman Bates.
