(The time setting for this is in place of Psycho. So instead of the whole ordeal with Marion Crane, this story occurs in place of the movie. But note that there will probably be references to the movie, like quotes and whatnot.) (Y/N) has finally moved from her hometown and to Fairvale, California, in hopes of a fresh start and some peace. She has no house yet, and stops at the Bates Motel in the meantime. Just until she finds a place. It seems too good to be true. The motel is great - she doesn't understand why more people don't check in. But the longer she stays, the more secrets she uncovers. (Y/N) begins to slowly piece together the puzzle of history surrounding the Bates family and their business. Despite the strange circumstances, she gradually falls for the young manager, Norman Bates. Will her feelings put her in more danger, or save her?
