After Carter Lions moves to a remote North Dakota town from Florida, he realizes that his life is far from normal. He begins to have dreams that involve the girl that died five years prior at his new school and then one day he finds her in his backyard by a lake. Carter starts to piece together Fae's life, and death, coming to a haunting realization. But, he also starts to learn that through his interactions with Fae, he's bringing her back to life in a way he never thought possible. Could Carter actually help save Fae's soul?
