Makena never understood why she was different, why she stuck out from the crowd or why she had these strange visions that always left her feeling down or confused. She has lived with it for as long as she can remember so it has become part of her everyday life. What she doesn't realise is she is a Superno(a genetically mutated being with a special "super" power, also known as underground heroes, who are disregarded by society)

Everything begins to change, in her boring life all with: one nudged shoulder, one hot nerd, one newly found hateful friendship, one witnessed murder and one huge realisation.

(as cheesy as it sounds) her life will never be the same again.
