The bracelets countdown to the exact second someone might meet their soul mate. But what happens when someone resists the idea of the bracelets?
Shay Mitchell, doesn't want to be with her 'soul mate'; she wants to find her own soul mate, someone who she truly loves and not someone that their government says she has to love. When she meets Caleb, she knows she will be with him somehow.
Caleb Dawson, forever and always will hate the bracelets. After his older sister ran off with someone other than her 'soul mate', he knew he wanted to follow her. And when he meets Shay and they start talking, he knows he found the girl he wants to be with forever.
