The Pokemon Type Specialization Act requires hopeful Pokemon Trainers to take the Exam at age 14 that determines what Pokemon Type they will specialize in. The PTSA expanded the capacity of parties from 6 to 8, and requires students to obtain a party of 5 Pokemon of their respective specialization type before they are allowed to capture any Pokemon they choose. The Violet Leaf Academy in the Unova region trains students in the 5 main career fields: Trainer, Special Agent, Researcher, Caretaker and Coordinator. Following a mysterious attack by Ho-Oh on Johto, the Academy puts together a team to investigate the cause and put a stop to any future attacks. However, they will learn there is a larger, sinister force at play. DISCLAIMER: Cover does not belong to me, all credit goes to the original artist
