It's the year 3072 and vampires have taken over the world (with the help of witches, but they'd never admit that). Each human family belongs to one specific vampire who can do whatever they desire with them; whether they decide to protect them, enslave them or even kill them. However, if any other vampire touches a family that does not belong to them without permission, they are lawfully allowed to be murdered by the family's vampire. So when Evangaline Rosabito is bitten by a vampire that is not the one assigned to her family, the vampire that does belong to her family decides that it's about time he made an appearance.
