The universe always comes so neatly together for the player, but i's never as smooth as it seems.
Naomi Auber works for a company that keeps everything in check. New timelines are constantly emerging and changing after the invention of technology that's split them, and needs to be controlled and kept as close to the original as possible, at the expense of maybe the entire multiverse. This is suddenly made very real as everything goes brightly and spectacularly off the rails.
