Havelock is your cute little town, close enough to visit on the weekends and stay in the bed and breakfast. Catch up with the locals and have dinner with some friends. Maybe do some camping in the summer, and there's a real good fishing spot just outside of town.
Except nobody does those things. Havelock is a place of passing through. It's forgettable. People stay at the bed and breakfast to avoid driving through the storm. Road trips that happen to have a stop here and fuel up on a rest stop. Teenagers who drive down the highway for fun stumble upon the town when they thought they were headed nowhere. Nobody visits twice. There isn't even a sign when you drive in, you're just suddenly in Havelock.
Yet it's somehow the perfect place for a few teenagers to mess around and learn something about life.

Olympus Drive Book 1: Everything is Fine
Recently freed members of a cult search for their missing members. Everything is not as it seems in Winfell, where six children disappeared under mysterious circumstances, only for four them to be found ten years later telling strange stories of monsters and the Underworld, with no explanation for where they've been. The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. Ryan had lost everything. His mother recently died of cancer, and his father had completely shut down after her death. His father even dragged him away from the city he'd grown up in, forcing him to leave all of his friends to move to a tiny, backwater town called Turnbridge, hundreds of miles from anything remotely interesting. Even the school's social scene seemed to revolve around activities and sermons at the local church. Then he met Chance. Chance was quiet and friendly, and was an extreme social outcast due to his sexual orientation. He was also obsessed with an unsolved murder that had taken place two years previously. Everyone was convinced it was a suicide. Everyone except Chance, who believed the victim had been targeted due to his homosexuality. Ryan didn't believe him until the accidents started, all seeming to focus around Chance. With the local culture so hostile toward the gay population, there were too many suspects and not nearly enough time as they tried to stop a killer who hunted in the name of God.
