Has it ever crossed your mind that all the war, hatred and pain was the result from the actions of your own species? These were the type of questions that not only Sebastian Turner thought but haunted his very soul. And of course, aiding your country automatically makes you a hero, correct? Well....if only that was the case.Complete

"Going once, going twice, SOLD!" The gavel fell with a loud bang onto the auctioneers table. Kelly stepped forward, watching as the eager man rushed forward, money in hand, dropping it on the table before he grabbed her. He could hardly wait to get her home before he started tearing her clothes off. The thing that followed was the pain. The suffering. The anxiety. It was sometimes too much for Kelly to bear, being beaten if she made a mistake, being starved if she talked back, and being raped nearly every night. It was all against her will and she fought to make it not happen, but it always happened. She couldn't stop it from happening, but maybe she could prevent it from ever happening again. She wasn't afraid of death. Anything would be better than the pain. ANYTHING. Entering this in the #wattys2016 but I don't expect to even get an honorable mention (lol)Complete
