The music industry was no place for a child, let alone a girl like Kathleen. Yet despite her arbitrary seizures and a looming threat of an abusive relationship weighing on her shoulder, her band had managed to become one of the biggest names in punk rock. Now, she was on her second run of the Vans Warped Tour.  The summer of 2014 was about to be the most formative few months of her life, in the best and worst way possible.

Awsten Knight, on the other hand, had nothing to lose. His band was unsigned, underground, and ready to take their first year on Warped Tour by storm. This was about to be the best summer of his life, until Kathleen came along leaving him in a whirlwind of her twisted past and dangerous secrets.

It had been a bad day for Tatum. One full of grieving the recent loss of her mother and the person who she thought was the love of her life. Now on brisk night in late February, Tatum and Awsten were brought back together by an invisible string. If Tatum Preston thought her world was already upside down - she was sadly mistaken.
