The music industry was no place for a child, let alone a girl like Kathleen. Yet despite her arbitrary seizures and a looming threat of an abusive relationship weighing on her shoulder, her band had managed to become one of the biggest names in punk rock. Now, she was on her second run of the Vans Warped Tour.  The summer of 2014 was about to be the most formative few months of her life, in the best and worst way possible.

Awsten Knight, on the other hand, had nothing to lose. His band was unsigned, underground, and ready to take their first year on Warped Tour by storm. This was about to be the best summer of his life, until Kathleen came along leaving him in a whirlwind of her twisted past and dangerous secrets.

She didn't know that her new start would include becoming best friends with her idol. The two of them are finding their feet, learning to be alone again, and in that, they find comfort in each other. Though, they can't help the overwhelming feelings that after their respective heartbreaks, they may never bloom again.
