Eighteen-year-old Rapunzel is a Nix. Nix's are beings who have powers beyond imagination. Rapunzel lives with her sister, Bayflower, her only blood relative left, in the Nix Clan. They're in hiding from the sinister King of Taeria, Pitch Black who believes the Nix are nothing but evil. He thinks that their only desire is to claim and control the minds of his people, only, we know what the real problem is; he's afraid that he won't be able to do it first. The Nix have no intention of harming the People of Taeria. They all just want to live in peace, unbothered. 

Jack on the other hand, is nothing. He doesn't even exist in the eyes of the government. All he is is a thief and a poor homeless boy. He steals from the markets regularly, and camps out wherever he can find shelter. Jack doesn't know anything about himself but his name, Jack Frost, and age, nineteen. It's as if he appeared out of no where.

But when Rapunzel's Clan is found by King Pitch's soldiers, what happens when the mysterious boy Jack pops into the picture?

Rapunzel was never saved by Flynn Rider. He did take her to see the lights, but in the end, he only cared about money. The princess was forced to return to her tower and live a miserable life, believing she would never escape her "Mother's" grasp or learn about her true identity. However, everything changed one day when she had an unexpected visitor, Jack Frost. Jack was drawn to her voice and couldn't bear to leave her in her poor state, so he freed her, and they flew away together into the night. He taught her about the world and herself. Over the years, they fell in love, married, and went on to have two daughters, Elsa and Anna. Elsa was born with powers that were stronger than her father's, while Anna was born without powers. They believed Anna would be just as powerful as her sister once her powers surfaced. They were a picture-perfect superhuman family, but what could possibly go wrong? I want to clarify that I don't own any of these characters. Disney and Dreamworks do. I came up with this story after seeing a Jackunzel illustration where Elsa and Anna were their children. I ship both Jackunzel and New Dream (Rapunzel x Eugene), so don't worry, you'll see some Raps x Eugene moments in later chapters. I may also add some other Disney/Dreamworks characters down the line.

This is a second version of Streetlights (which is already completed). This is NOT a sequel and is a standalone story. I am pulling in some content from my other stories and combining them into this. I feel the first version wasn't satisfying so expect a new storyline. Colton Bolt is a rogue spirit. The second he passed away 319 years ago, his world altered for the worse. Instead of seeing his many gifts as a blessing, he's only noticed the negative side effects. He carries every power such as frost, creation, destruction, life, death, nature, strength, but his main one that he chooses to identify by... electricity. His reasoning for coming back was to spread powers out to other spirits that were brought back after showing the ultimate sacrifice... little did he know he'd keep those powers with him. Fast forward to the current time, Colton is a force that threatens the balance between light and dark in the eyes of the guardians, being blamed for their powers starting to fade slightly. Jack Frost however knows little about him. He doesn't know why the guardians fear his presence so much... let alone want to destroy him as if he was Pitch Black. One day, all 5 of the guardians decide to confront Colton by capturing his sidekick. A black wolf named Slice. Things turn out for the worst with them realizing he still carries every power such as electricity, frost, things that they aren't prepared to fight... but Jack is left confused on why he wasn't harmed... on why Colton walked past him with no glare but rather a hint of missing him in his eyes. It confuses him. It's only when he checks the vile of his memories that Tooth hides from him that he realizes there is more to the story... more that shows who Colton truly is to him. I do not own any characters created by Dreamworks. The only characters I own are the ones that are unknown from the movie.
