My name is Ruth Costa and I am twelve years old. I was abused and traumatized because of my past, which led me to find the one of the most dangerous things in Romania, all because I broke into an "abandoned" apartment for food.
The Winter Soldier stared at me from the doorway, plums in a clear plastic bag in his gloved hands. I held his candy bars and other fruits I found in the fridge. We both stared at each other. I don't know if I should run, give them back, or start bawling, because I feel that all three of those options were pretty good.

He was too worried, and a bit scared, to go to his childhood friend, Steve Rogers, so he tried to hide from the blonde as well. When Jodie was two, Wade decided to join an underground fight club, but only a year later, he was killed in a scuffle with a man twice his size over a bet. Harlow was given full custody of Jodie, and she and the small child moved to the apartment to get away from all of the sad memories of Wade. Three years later, Harlow and Jodie were surprised to see a man moving into the small apartment next to theirs. The apartment was very small, and from what Harlow seen, the man really didn't have much to move in. Each day, Harlow and Jodie would watch the man leave, only for him to come back with a small bag of fruit.
