What would you do if you were taken by the government at the age of 6 because you have psychic powers? What would do you if you were abused and told to do things that you otherwise wouldn't?
Isla Jane was 6 years old when she was taken away from her mum. Twelve years later she is still there, being forced to torture people if they don't comply with the government. But what happens when someone comes in that says he can help her. An opportunity has risen, will she take the risk and start a new life full of adventures or will she stay and not risk it, knowing that if she failed she might not be able to endure the pain that comes after.

This is my first story so it is probably bad and has a lot of mistakes, feel free to comment on anything that you see is incorrect and/or make suggestions. Keep in mind that I am Australian so this book has Australian English rules and will probably have a little bit of Aussie slag.

The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way. He tenderly kissed my forehead lingering as my heart exploded I waited patiently and shut my eyes praying for him to remove his lips from my skin so I could go home. He finally did and when he unlocked the car doors I jumped out and hurried to my apartment not looking back at the devil in the car. I finally reached my apartment panting and shut the door sliding down my door crying hysterically, I could still feel his cold lips on me. What did I just witness tonight. What did I get myself into. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
