''What do you mean?'' I asked, biting my lip, dropping my pen back onto my book. I would have thought this would have been a studying lesson not an hour of talking about George's family and his heir to the throne.

''I think... I think that you're my princess, Poppy. I think I've fallen in love with you and I've tried to stop myself from doing so,'' George sighed. ''But the thing is, I can't fall in love with you or marry you because... I'm already marrying somebody else,''
