Cameron suffers with cancer and doesn't have long left to live. Hating the fact that he hasn't got long left and doesn't know when he will die, he goes to commit suicide. But what will happen when the beautiful girl in school who Cameron has eyes on stops him?

Soon there is a group of four friends who are all helping each other battle their problems. But when Lottie gets brutally killed, the group starts to fall apart and struggle with the loss of a friend. 

So, what if these four friends never met each other? Would it of been better because they would of only had to deal with their problems and not carry the weight of their friends problems?

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
