Ikuko Akamatsu was the best of friends with her favourite blue haired neighbor, Grimmjow. In elementary school Ikuko was bullied just because the kids only saw her as some spoiled rich girl, Grimmjow was the only one to stay by her side and defend her. In middle school despite her more filled in figure she was still bullied by those she went to elementary school with yet Grimmjow was was there to protect her. When she decided enough was enough she took a self defense class and a kendo class with Grimmjow. As she trained she grew stronger and more confident in herself and her ability to protect herself better now. Then came high school, most people came to respect her for who she is but those courageous ones would still try to bully her whenever she was without Grimmjow. But not long after celebrating his birthday Grimmjow passed away, the next night she passed away due to getting hit by a drunk driver. This is Ikuko's story of her life as an Espada.

She flew up and saved them both, but she didn't notice a hot-tempered boy who was shocked when he saw her... But, as it turns out, it wasn't a meteor, but a pod containing a watch that, once stuck upon your wrist, could turn you into any alien you want. Needless to say that my life went uphill from there. I traveled across the galaxy, saved it from blowing up. Fought a giant alien, AS a giant alien. Stopped a race from destroying the universe. Blew up my watch. Got a new one. Dated a tennis player, and broke up with her. Fought a giant alien, as a giant alien AGAIN, this time in Tokyo. Killed an interdimensional demon along with my archnemesis. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces."
