She was like no girl I'd ever met. 

A bright young girl with a smile on her lips and a song in her heart. She'd been raised and surrounded by those who tried to "tame" her, to "calm" her, scared of the wildness that was simply her. 

I knew she was different the day I met her. The spark in her eyes was so close to fading, but I was determined to help her. I took her away from the ones who brought her down. I told her the truth no one else would. 

I told her that she was amazing, but she wouldn't believe me. 

She doesn't realize how much I adore her.

He was like no man I'd ever met. 

An old, yet young man with the stars written in his eyes and a shout of "Geronimo!" always on his lips. He told me that I was special and wonderful, for all the reasons that my 'family' told me I was worthless. 

I knew he was different the day I met him. The kindness in his eyes and the unknown adventures ahead drew me to him and that marvellous blue box. He took me away from the ones who despised me. I couldn't believe that I was worthy of a chance to see, explore, and question the universe. 

He told me I was amazing. Every time he says that, I deny it, but my heart rejoices at the fact that this wonderful man actually enjoys my company. He actually likes me. 

He doesn't realize how much I need him.

No one for sure knows how long it's been since the end of the Time War. Except for one being. All throughout history, the Doctor, the lone survivor of the Time War, is known for traversing through time and space, going on terrifying adventures and defying death. But what happens when he finds a mysterious young woman with two hearts and memory loss? There is a secret hidden deep inside the corridors of Henry van Statten's underground research facility. A secret that could potentially change the Doctor's world as he knows it. __________________________ Disclaimer: In no way at all do I intend to claim any of the existing characters in this story as my own. This is simply fan fiction. All original characters in this story are my own and any relation to other characters is purely coincidental. For clarity, the story takes place with David Tennant playing the Tenth Doctor, but the first chapter is set in season 1 episode 6, 'Dalek', in Henry van Statten's underground bunker. I am choosing to be creative through this story and some characters may not appear purely because that's the way I've written it. I also have no hate at all for our girl Rose, she is and will always be my favourite companion, but I was inspired to write a story like this. So the Doctor does not meet Rose in this story, but instead embarks on a journey where this companion has some interesting surprises in store. I also want to state that at this point in time, I have not finished watching Doctor Who, so my writing might not be as story-accurate. No hate. If this isn't what you enjoy, then don't read it.

"Ouchh," I cried trying to balance. I looked up at him with soft eyes, flushed cheeks. He looked into my eyes with his knitted ones. His hair lying over his sweaty forehead. I never presumed to glimpse him this close. His photographs conveyed his good looks but his dominating aura was hard to handle. I was feeling scared to even breathe in his arms. Bringing his fingers to my face he gently pushed hair strands behind my ear. I lowered my eyes feeling extremely shy. "Sambhal kar chaliye zara, har waqt bahein nahi hongi hamari sambhalne ko," he said in a scratchy tone. There was a hint of taunt present. I knitted my brows to his words and quickly matched his aura. "Hume chahiye bhi nahi," I said glaring at him. He shot his eyebrows a little and I pushed him to leave angrily. Turning around I stepped up on another dumbbell and slipped over it again. I threw my hands in the air for support and once again found him snaking my waist and pulling my back closer to his chest. "Are you sure," he asked over my ears. I angrily looked back at him, found him smirking. "Baahon mein girte girte, mohabbat me mat giriyega hamare," he whispered looking into my eyes. "Kabhi nahi," I replied and left. I royally ignored his taunt only to end up marrying him. Day by day my feelings for him grew stronger though finding happiness was becoming a risky game. But I was heartbroken upon discovering that he only married me out of pity and loved someone else who he was to marry. Not having parents from young age now made me helpless. It felt good to leave home where my family cared for me all these years, after my parents. I did not want to go back and be a burden again. But living this life with him didn't seem fruitful either. This is love story of Tejas Pratap Rathore and Sunaina Maan Singh. Storyline takes place in the early years of 21st century (2001). A beloved saga tying them together in love and commitment whilst they dwell over misunderstandings and growing feelings.
