I feel someone looking at me, so I look around to see who it is. I stop and lock eyes with a man who has short brown hair, brown eyes and a square jaw. I'm frozen in place and I can't stop staring at him. It looks like he can't look away either. I haven't seen him before. Maybe he's new in town...? Suddenly the air smells like... mint... and strawberries. A moment after, a beautiful blond haired woman walks up to him and links her arm with his. "Ready?" she asks him. He's still looking at me and it's like time stands still for a moment. "Huh?" he asks. "Ready to go? We got to get to the party tonight, remember?" "Oh... yeah... right." Our connection breaks and I can finally look away. What just happened? I felt a pull to him like I had to go to him. Slowly getting on my bike, I make my way home. I can't stop thinking about him. I'm the Princess to be exact. I love my planet with all my heart and I would do anything for my people. As much as I love Venus the one thing i've always wished we had that Earth does is true love. On Venus we have arranged marriages. It starts from the day you were born. Your parents would pick out someone just for you either five days older or five days younger. Since I am a princess my arranged marriage would be to a Prince. I'm turning eighteen soon which means I will need to be wed to take over as Queen. Prince Aaron was picked out for me, though he seems nice that's not the loophole. Having an arranged marriage isn't the worst thing. It's that your parents start to disappear... no one knows why or how this happens it just does. As soon as you are married they start to go starting from legs and up. At home she takes constant abuse, all the while working three jobs to support her "loving" family, and attempting to be a mother figure to her 3 year old brother. What she hadn't realized is that there is an extremely large family willing to do anything to have her. --------------- The fleur family have always wanted a girl, for generations only boys were biologically taken into the family. It was deemed impossible by them to have a girl, through the mother's and aunts and grandmothers who married into the fleur family, none of them had been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Of course they all loved there sons dearly, and all of the family had grown accustomed to wanting a baby sister, one to coddle and love with all their hearts, one to protect from the world and all the darkness that comes with it. So what happens when the whole fleur family goes out to eat at the local diner, and has little y/n as there waitress for the day. The ENTIRE family immediately grows an attachment to this frail girl,, and feel that if nobody else will love her, they will. They notice how she flinches when a loud noise occurs,or whinces whenever she bumps into a table. They want you in there family, they want you all to themselves to love, but how far will they go?
