A decade after a nuclear war where Russia and North Korea team up to nuke America specifically, few are left behind with less morals than before. Cannibalism has become a norm, and people with blue eyes tend to be the more frequent victims. Our lovely 14-year old Kyra was born a few years before this war, and is learning how to survive on her own after her parents died. (This is a short story and I put more research into it than I put effort. It was written in like one day, most of which while being half asleep. I don't expect anything to come from this story, I just liked the concept and wanted to try it out.)

{WARNING: This is an original story of mine, and has nothing to do with any fandoms. I understand if you don't want to read it, but it would mean a lot if you tried it out.} Humanity is falling apart, and only a few people are keeping it together: the Purebloods. They fight against the violent, erratic mutants with what little sway they have left, struggling to keep humanity from falling to pieces. the mutants, on the other hand, are trying to stop the Purebloods and get them to embrace their mutant side so everyone can live together and cease fighting. After a horrible accident, Stephen finds himself caught in between the two sides, struggling to understand himself and his other half as he battles his morals and friends. What will become of humanity? Read on and find out.
