This is a retailing of the Story The Birds by Daphne du Maurier. 
Jill blocks out the bombings and says that it was birds instead. Her childhood friend Gabe comes back from the war and finds her.. only problem its not where he expected to find her.
 This story was written for a class. Gabe is not originally in the story. I do not own the 
Characters  other then Gabe.
