"But what hurts the most is that your weren't there when I needed you most!" I shout at my supposed best friend with tears threatening to fall from my eyes. "I needed you Michael." My voice breaks as I slide my sleeve of my shirt up my arm revealing months of self harm. He immediately grabs a hold of my wrists pulling me gently to him before wrapping his arms tightly around me. "Oh my god, Charlotte I'm so sorry." I pull away from his hold just as fast. "Sorry doesn't cut it."

"If you don't let me explain, I swear to god I'm walking out that door with my stuff by late morning." She threatened. "I don't care. You've hurt me enough. I couldn't care less if you left. In fact, you'd be doing me a favor." I said carelessly. Tears began falling from her glassy eyes. "Well if that's how you feel, then I'll pack and book a flight home." She headed towards my room to pack up her stuff. Within an hour, she had booked a flight for early this morning and had packed all of her things. It was three in the morning. She told me her flight was at seven. She looked at me with no emotion evident in her face and left without another word. *no mention of self-harm or suicide*
