I took this as inspiration from my own upbringing but it's only the start of what I hope to become an epic. The world flooded, and only small peaks now rise above the water, with civilization confined to waterborne cities with limited resources. The cities are ruled by tyrannous bosses, enforcing their will with an army of thugs and Stoneweavers, those able to use the remnants of magic from the old times. Resources are maintained by regular Cleansing of the populace, selling the poorest into slavery as miners. With a Cleansing due, what danger are an escaped slave and a thief to this delicate society? As an experiment, I'm publishing the first draft chapters from this heroic fantasy on a daily basis, while still writing it. I'm about halfway through but at the current rate should be able to keep up the pace until it's finished (admittedly, many of the chapters are fairly short). It's also an exercise in discovery writing, as I'm working from a very loose outline on this one, but I have a fairly good idea of the ending by this point. The chapters may get updated to fix typos, or if elements need changing due to future chapters, but otherwise the final version should be made available as an ebook.

This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!
