Amari Satoko was born Quirkless, just like her best friend Izuku. Both of her parents have quirks, yet she was born Quirkless. Her and Izuku shared a lot of the same traits, Quirkless yet ambitious enough to still want to be heroes, however...her dream slowly starts to crumble when her father leaves her, her older sister, and her mother. Things get even worse when she starts to get bullied for being Quirkless. She hides the pain that she feels by standing up for Izuku, whenever he gets bullied. By summer before her first year of junior high, she's given up completely on her dream because of the severe bullying in school and the abuse she receives at home.
What happens when, years later, she runs into her two childhood friends, but not in a way the two expected to?
