one simple glance

of your eyes

at mine, 

one glance

of your smile,

and one glance 

of every strip 

of fear 

hidden behind 

your soul, 

the imperfections 

you wear 

and the little painful

thing I feel 

makes me

grateful 

I looked over

my shoulder 

and saw you.
