This is the peaceful world of Menagerie. Here, every human being is born with some type of beast quality, whether it be mythical or real, and these qualities are known as quirks. These quirks are categorized into four different nitches: air, reflex, show, and talon. The air nitch is pretty self explanatory, this nitch is reserved for those with a quirk that enables them to fly. The reflex nitch is reserved for any quirk that enhances the user's senses and response time. The show nitch is for those whose quirk is mainly used for beauty and/or attraction purposes. The talon nitch is for quirks that give the user added defensive abilities. Society, in this world, is based on the strength and appeal of a person's quirk. While generally being a very peaceful world, once a year anyone between the ages of fourteen and thirty five can enter the annual Trials Festival. The Trials Festival is a gathering of people for them to test their skills against others. There are four different events, one for every nitch. The air nitch has a race, the reflex nitch has a obstacle course, the show nitch has a beauty contest, and the talon nitch has a king of the hill tournament.
