Open My Eyes (A Niall Horan Fan-Fic)

They say the eyes are the window to the soul. So, when you're looking into another person's eyes, you can see right through them and and into their soul...seems legit. They also say you do not have a soul, but you are a soul, and that you have a body. So, what they're saying is, you are basically a ghost? You are a thin wisp of a sort of smokey, airy substance? You are a ghost inside a body of a human being, trying to get out. That's how I see it. People tell me I need to get some perspective, look at things differently. All I see is myself, trying to get something out of this life. I can't though, because I am trapped in a jail where my body is the cell and my soul is the prisoner. But, if the eyes are the window to my soul, why can't anyone let me out? Why can't anyone, open my eyes?
