Pick up your pens, heighten thy mind
We're going to write, prepared or blind
Don't let your thoughts be so confined
Today's the day hand and soul be bind

We writers unite
We writers will fight
We writers will take the plight
To write the best story since the first of nights

- Kobe

The Writer's Club at University Preparatory School was started late 2017 by myself, Hannah Mason, and Emily Littau. We have not done a lot since it's creation but we did put on a writing workshop in March and we have 7-10 members. Now we are writing this anthology together. We voted on a topic (the topic "colours" was chosen) and signed up for colours to write on. Each member has 1-3 colours and will write at least one section. We as a club believe anybody can write, anybody can find joy in creating beauty with words, with a pen or fingers on a keyboard instead of paint and paintbrush or notes sung. There are many types of art. This time, we have chosen this one. We hope you enjoy.

In this book, you'll get a behind the scenes look at how your favorite characters were born, my creative process, and the dirty details never before revealed. Tex's Camp Q&A: Come sit by the fire and ask me whatever you'd like. We can roast marshmallows, tell scary stories, and hang out in the comments like a big, happy family. Gator's Backstage Pass: A place full of secrets. Learn the-sometimes embarrassing-details on how my wildest scenes came to life, facts about the characters, the process, and myself.
