Amon has fallen; the three races escaped the void victorious. In their haste though, some were forgotten. SCV driver Joseph Swail awakes alone, abandoned in the void- or so he thinks. An unlikely alliance is forged as he fights to survive and leave the desolate world. The most dangerous threat isn't out in the wasteland though, it's in him. He's been running from his past for years, working as a mechanic for Raynor's Raiders. But now, cut off from everything else, it's finally caught up. Will he overcome his hatred of his transgressors and escape, or become another forgotten relic of the void...

The year is 2117. The United States, up to this point, has been through three major World Wars. A retired pilot had thought she'd seen it all, until she's asked to become part of the first crew for a spaceship destined to land on a new planet. ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ Genevieve Autumn considered herself retired. She had served her time in the Air Force as a pilot, and in the Army as an officer. At least, she considered herself retired until she found herself on board the Patriot I, one of the first two spaceships to ever leave Earth. The Patriot I is a smaller, weaponized ship with a tough crew to escort the Pioneer, a ship full of humans meant to colonize the far-away planet Z-031. The main issue is that Z-031 is thousands of years away. Even with Earth's advanced technology, it will take three hundred years to arrive. The Pioneer is a Generational Ship, meant to survive in flight for so long. The Patriot is not. The crew will have to be cryogenically-frozen within the ship, asleep in flight for three centuries. As soon as Genevieve opens her eyes after centuries of being asleep, everything goes wrong. The crew remains asleep. The ship doesn't have enough power to sustain them. Her mind is turning against her with the side-effects of the cryogenic-freezing sleep. Lastly, there are enemies lurking just outside the hull of her ship. Genevieve is losing track of what is happening, but what she knows for sure is that none of it is what she signed up for. Space Opera This is the voyage of the StarKiller, a ship of over 5000 lives. Exploration, battles, love, military.... Feedback welcome! Should I break each chapter into episodes and expand on them (essentially, each chapter would become its own book)? With everything going on in 2020, I wanted to portray my own feelings and hurt over the racism, the segregation, the spiritual, emotional, and mental attacks, as well as the physical harm we are causing our fellow man (humanity/mankind/personhood). I began writing this book in 2017. I dreamt it in 2018. I fleshed it out in 2019. And here we are, more than halfway through 2020, and I'm finally putting it out there.
