Layla is not an omega in her blood and she is not weak but after her loss, she doesn't care anymore and so she does what she's told. As long as they would leave her alone, she'd do what they want. But even with everything that goes on in her daily life, Layla still dreams of the stories her mother used to tell her about mates and how they are supposed to love and cherish each other forever. She prayed her mate wasn't in this pack because she didn't want to stay anymore with all the bad memories the place carried and the way everyone treated her.
Her 18th birthday rolled around and she didn't find her mate. She obviously was not allowed to leave the territory to look for him but she was content enough to know that he wasn't one of the unmated males that hurt her.
