The Lost City of Kreelalia

This wasn't going to be great. I'll give you that much. Not that we're on an abandoned desert land that's only meant for inventors like me and Erteng. We're the only ones of our existence, and trust me when I say that we know. 9ish years ago, the people of Kreeliala found out a way to get rid of inventors and tear them away from their families. Erteng and were both give years old at the time. But, because we both had parents that were inventors, we got kicked off as well. My parents and I got split up when they wanted all children in one of their dumping tanks, women and men were split up as well. I had witnessed their deaths just before the Kreelialains trickled us down into the desert waste land. I felt an arm going around my shoulders as I found Erteng trying to comfort me for I had been crying.

"Hey, it's okay, it's all going to be okay," he coaxed. He then hugged me into him and I leaned myself against him as his shirt became my tissue. His parents were dead as well, so you could call us orphans.
