My name is Violet Devereux and I am a superhero. Okay, not technically a superhero because I can't fly, or shoot lasers from my eyes. I am a perfectly ordinary girl in her twenties, except at night when I put on a disguise and become Justice: the hero-vigilante of London, England.
Life was good until he showed up.
His name is Ghoul and he is a real superhero. Super strength, super speed, super good-looks (he wears a mask, but I assume), super perfect golden hair, and rumoured super hearing.
His only flaw? He is no hero.

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. She does what she can to survive, inadvertently making her a target for the heroes. Behind her mask, she struggles in personal battles, alone. When her abusive boyfriend and her own fight against depression overtake her, she's introduced to the world of superheroes. Vincent Ciobanu is a new hero at a local base. He introduces himself to the ex-villain and takes Neera's focus away from the pain and suffering she had been used. Neera grows as she gets used to her new life. Times change and things shift for the worse as Neera's ex, Koen James, comes back into her life stronger as a supervillain, threatening the peace of the world and the freedom Neera discovered. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Neera's eyes closed and her chest rose as she breathed deeply, trying her hardest to focus her power on the heroes nearing her. Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime as only increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say.
