NOTE... The city mentioned in the title of this story is from the planet Gallifrey, from the TV show Doctor Who.
Darflon, also called The Mechanic, never thought that her life would change in a matter of minutes. She never thought that she'd end up serving as the highest rank of mechanic possible - in what was once called the Capitol Center. She never thought that Rassilon, the longest serving leader to ever rule over Gallifrey, would eventually be overthrown by a brave young girl, named Susan. She never thought that she would ever serve Susan, who would become queen in just a few weeks.
Darflon and Maya experience a major change in their lives once Darflon goes out to officially greet Susan, the Doctor's daughter, for the first time.
How will Darflon take this change in her life? How will she manage to survive as Susan's main mechanic? Read to find out!
