There is struggle, regret, and the eventual recovery phase. Glenn is a boy with a deeply troubled past. His parents left him at an early age and he finds that even his foster home cannot provide him with the familial warmth that he desires. Thus, he isolates himself and eventually finds that he's alone again. He attends a high school in a not-so popular town in Canada and is presented with a problem when the class is scheduled to a town he is familiar with but had to leave because of a startling experience in the past. He meets a cast of characters on the way who slowly help him realize that isolation isn't the only answer in his mysterious little world.
