Despite Giles's efforts to let his adoptive daughter have a happy life, he couldn't quite stop the Watchers Council from raising her as a weapon. However, his efforts were not in vain as her humanity and empathy run deeper than most of the cold-hearted Watchers around her. Aud straddles the line with the duality of her existence, but no one would know with how happy she can seem. She may be a little strange and an enigma with an obscene love for PB&Js, but look past that, and her good heart can be seen. Aud is just trying to find her way in this wild world without the Watchers Council breathing down her neck.
