Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Hold On (Book 1 of It's Not Over)
[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. [Sanders Sides, is an amazing thing created by Thomas Sanders, this is just a fanfic.] So, okay. Virgil, even now, wouldn't say that he's a part of the group. There was the Light Sides, the Dark Sides, an He was just Virgil. Kinda stuck in between in his own special but tiny box. And up until now, Virgil thought that the Light Sides were fine with that like the Dark Sides were. But, the answer was, apparently, no. Or, at least it was a semi-unanimous no.
