My life was perfect. Complete and utter perfection. My parents were Alpha and Luna of the 1st strongest pack in the world and 2nd largest. My step-parents were our Beta's. I and my mate were the future Alpha and Luna and my younger brother would be future beta. While my mate's sister was our Gamma.

Everything was perfect. And at the truth of it, I was completely oblivious sheltered. My Mate made sure of that!!! That was until a rouge pack and five of the world's weakest packs attacked us. Then nothing was the same.

My parents were killed first, then my step-parents. 40 of our 863 wolves were slaughtered. My brother won't wake from his coma, my younger sister is dead, my daughter is dead, and my mate. . .
The only reason I'm alive is because of my Gamma and sister-in-law/sister-not-by-blood.

And now I must lead my pack with a stand-in Beta, my grieving Gamma, my 382 warriors, my 441 pack mates, my dead packs funerals to plan. Including my blood and my mates. Who's body has yet to be found. Plus the Alpha meeting coming up(where all the alphas get together[under a truce in which I cant kill who did this])!!! Oh, and did I mention that almost all the other packs don't believe a female alpha should rule; added to the fact I was sheltered (though I know how to completely run a pack by the time I was six and beat all our top warriors in battle) you still need experience in life!!!
