Temp-(time)-intra (inside/within)

Meet Véronique Garcia, a girl living in Barcelona, Spain. Well, lived there. After Earth has been ravaged by drought and famine, the Earth-Space Committee (ESC) constructed many large-scale transport ships for many cities for an evacuation to Mars, where civilization had already began to seed.

This was until unknown forces had different plans for her, and she didn't get to go with everyone else.

Follow Véron along her quest to understand what happened, why it did, and to see her family again.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Starpiercer: Sunlight's Edge by Neptondoodle
22 parts Complete Mature
Nobody said Rock Hauling would be easy. Throughout settled space, terraforming is the fuel that drives the interstellar economy. For some worlds, this is easy. For others, lacking resources, or on the periphery, this is an unattainable dream. Through the eyes of workers, astronauts and intellectuals, Sunlight's Edge follows an attempt to revitalize the crumbled terraforming project of the barren, poverty-stricken and resource-poor planet of Tylo. To carry this out, the beggared planetary government has commissioned the crew of the aging, if powerful asteroid-cracker Caroline Rowland to make the three-month journey to a distant asteroid belt and tug a selected asteroid back into orbit for conversion into a space station. This is difficult enough by itself, but located in a strategic demilitarized zone between two rival interstellar hegemons, Tylo and it's project may be the flashpoint for a conflict of apocalyptic proportions, with the Caroline Rowland and her crew as the spark that lights the tinder. This is the debut novella for the world of Starpiercer, a planned series of novels set in the 200-world region of Solace with accompanying illustrations, sketches, maps, technical details and more. Read along to meet alien species, experience real and speculative technologies, and follow a sprawling interconnected narrative over multiple novels and multiple series, with fully realized histories, culture groups, physics, biology, anthropology and thousands of pages of worldbuilding. This story has been fully written, and more sections will be published daily, hourly, or in other chunks.

It's kinda hard to adjust between different versions of you, but you'll get used to it. Actually when I'm in Australia with my parents it feels like home, and just waiting for my step brother to come home. Also I think about the delivery boy and found out he was a skater, so I thought if I go try skate with him, but I need to wait for my step brother, Charles, to come home. In the end I did go outside and from that I met the Delivery boy I mean skater boy, with his friends. I'll tell you it was a bad idea that we go hangout to a restaurant instead of just heading back to eachother's home. From that we maybe made a mistake of entering a spaceship. Later on this question is still stuck in my head, back from Australia when my dad had a call. That is, who are this Missing Astronauts? And... what is their greatest discovery? After that I didn't know my dad would say it would be their downfall. Highest Rank: #1 Alien 6-21-21 WARNING: This contains Xenophile (Alien / Human smut) If you don't find interest then that, this is not the place to be. Thanks! Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.

Thousands of years into the future, humanity reaches for the stars. Hundred of worlds in the milky way galaxy have been colonized and are now inhabited by humans. Massive atmosphere processors are built on the surface changing the composition of the planet's air to better suit humans. Atmosphere processing is a delicate process that takes generations to complete. While the planet is being terraformed, the future population of the colony lives on a massive ring station built around the planet. On the far edge of the galaxy lies Acies, the most recent colony project of the powerful Eftai corporation. Terrine Zafas was born and raised on Initium Station, which surrounds Acies, and has lived there her whole life. When the engineering firm where she works is tasked with a vague and unusual assignment, Terrine is suspicious about the goals and motives of Initium's planetary operations organization. Her suspicions are only heightened when a strange alien creature with bizarre abilities appears on the station.
