Jamás pensé que en pleno 2019 el amor doliera tanto, muchísimo más que en 1970, 1980, 1990 o incluso el 2000. Pero esto sin duda se debe a que ahora hay muchísimos factores de por medio que destruyen cualquier relación, cualquier sentimiento, cualquier amor, a cualquier persona.

In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. 24 new emails looked back at you from the screen. You could feel the headache setting in, but you opened your email anyway, looking through the new messages. Two from your statistics professor, about a new assignment, another one from the RA in the dorm building, one from the admissions office, about your application to the study abroad program, one from your American history professor- Hold the phone. You rapidly clicked on the email from the admissions office, scanning through the paragraphs.
