What would you do if you found yourself trapped in a video game as an NPC with seemingly no hope of returning to the real world? Having grown up without parents, Daisuke finds himself in a perpetual cycle of poverty as he tries to survive in the bottom rung of society. When the world's first VRMMORPG, Sehreneti Online, is released to the public, he decides to take a gamble by borrowing a buttload of money from some shady people to propel his hack-selling side hustle into the big leagues. After nearly getting his leg twisted into a pretzel for failing to pay off his loan on time, Daisuke decides to put his plan, Operation Jupiter, into action. Although a cool-sounding name, he didn't seem to be in Lady Luck's good graces that day. After uploading the code into his capsule and commencing the startup, everything goes haywire, booting his consciousness into the virtual world. When Daisuke comes to, he finds himself as a newborn fresh out the meat oven-and, of course, his circumstances are far from ideal. Apparently, he is still poor, but instead of being an orphan, he is now the son of a prostitute in the slums, with seemingly no connection to the game system or the real world. How will Daisuke overcome this trial, and will he be able to return to the real world? If you enjoy GameLit and LitRPG light novels such as Sword Art Online, Solo Leveling, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, then you'll definitely enjoy this epic tale!

SHADOW IS AZH'NAHN, A POWERLESS MAGE born into a culture that prides itself in sharing the earth's powers. When he chooses a life of voluntary exile to preserve his family's honor, Shadow receives a mysterious call to witness the unearthing of kotrakoy, treacherous telepathic beasts with four wings and four rows of teeth. As he watches their unholy resurrection with great horror, kotrakoy open their minds to his and offer a glimpse into what life would be like wielding a mage's powers. As Shadow races to warn his people of the impending threat, he discovers a mysterious Trayki woman hanging from the trees and on the verge of death. Uncertain what to do, Shadow initially hesitates to rescue this woman whose people embrace technology and eschew his culture. As Shadow tends to her glider crash wounds, the earth unites them in a soul bond, a sacred union that gives Shadow an unerring duty to protect and preserve her life. And that duty will be fraught with peril: Trayki troops begin bombing Hiwalani villages and while losses mount, magic evolves and Shadow's people lose their power. The Hiwalani must rely on inexperienced youth to master the new magic and stop enemy attacks. Desperate to save their people, few make any progress at all. Only the outcast azh'nahn seems to understand it - and very few trust his judgment. When Shadow believes he's unlocked the solution, it involves empowering the most deadly kotrakoy and risking the complete annihilation of his people. While his solution sounds reasonable in theory, there is no time to test it - it's UNPROVEN.
Requiem For A Warrior: The Book Of Levi by LevisLegend3210
2 parts Ongoing Mature
This Book is still in early access, so the exact Genre of the book is yet to be revealed. Read it and decide for yourself. Language slurs, violence, sex scenes are used throughout the book, it's beginner friendly as well...although I do advise, a sensitive reader should not read this. The fictional universe is set in medieval times between about 900-1300AD, but with a bit of a twist. The fiction will be set on a continent named Dark'ar. With four sets of land split up called The Northern Kingdom, which has Norsemen-like inhabitants, The Western Kingdom, which has Saxon-like inhabitants, The Eastern Empire, which has Arabian-like inhabitants, The Southern Wastelands, which has all kinds of different inhabitants, then finally, Riverpass Forest, which is situated in the middle of Dark'ar, which has tribal/native inhabitants. Everything is set as it was in 900-1300AD, except this fiction includes Bloodthirsty monsters, monster hunters, forms of slight magic, majestic plants and characters throughout the book. Note: The first instalment is set from a 1st person view. Which means that specific character is the one explaining the story, which also means his/her thoughts will be the ones accounted for. How the book is written. Examples: Inner monologue/thoughts: "Today is going to be lovely." Conversation between characters: Hafdan: Where is the trial? Isabel: It's vanished. The rest only requires basic reading skills. Enjoy!

Chanced |Third book in The Risen Saga| by augie4realz
60 parts Complete Mature
Third book in The Risen Saga. After the death of the group's beloved friend, everyone is in a turmoil; Emma's heartbroken, Ava's rage finally lit to a bonfire, and Tyson falling into a pit of his own sorrows and self-harming ways. With Seth on the run and Abaddon breaking through the barriers in everyone's head, nobody feels safe. But how do they hide from the things outside their safe haven when they're scared of what's in their heads? They reinforce Headquarters with spells and traps but have doubt that it will be enough. Ava thought they were finally done dealing with her monster, but, clearly, she was wrong. Tyson starts blacking out and ending up in places that he has no recollection of how he got there. And Emma is ready to go on a manhunt, only, every time she even thinks of that night, she breaks down in a heap of her own blood and tears. The world is falling apart around them, quite literally. Where they thought Seth was focusing his attention on Ava and the Hidden World, they find he has bigger plans, due to his new ally. With every one of them being supernatural beings, they'd left their mundane lives behind and thought that humans were outside of their small, hidden circle and out of danger. But when mundane murders start drawing the Rebellion's attention, they suspect Seth is behind them. When Ava faces her fear against the monsters in her world, and in others, the fate of the world is settled on her shoulders. Yet again, she finds she is the only one to stand between life and death. Only, Seth isn't the only one with new allies. *ATTENTION*DO NOT SKIP* Do NOT copyright! This is my story.
