Do you have a dream?
Most of you probably answered yes to this question. It's because we all have or had dreams at some point in life. And don't lie. As a child I bet you had huge ambitions growing up, you thought you could be anything you wanted to be.
Now we're teenagers. We're a bit smarter than what we once were. Reality slapped us right in the face; and told us straight up that our dreams were scary, dangerous and take a lot of hard work. No one wants to do that. At this point we either stopped pursuing our dreams or dropped them entirely.
Let me tell you a story about a girl an her dreams and what happened to her.

The Journey... (A true Story)
"I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. His Waitress
"Jess, would you please get his order." Lisa winked at me and pointed the guy near the door. She is my one and only bestfriend since kindergarten. "Okay." I wore my waitress apron and put my phone and car keys on the pocket. I dragged myself to the guy's table to get his order. "Good Morning, Sir. Can I take your order?" The guy put the menu down on the table and he's checking me out! Jerk. "I'll just have the waitress in front me. Name your price." He winked at me. "Jerk!" I got the glass of water from the other table and poured it from his head to his pants so that it looked like that he'd pee on it and I stormed out from the restaurant. Who does he think he is?!? --------------------------------------------------- Jessica is the only child of the highest tax payers in the country and belong to the top 5 richest persons in the world. Her parents own a hundred of five star restaurant chains and hotel & casinos in the country and a hundred more around the world. Her parents love and protect her so much because they don't want publicity for their daughter. They want their daughter to have her private life. Jessica doesn't want other people to know that she's the daughter of the richest couple in the country but of course almost everyone knows about it. She wants to have a simple life. One thing about Jessica is that, she hates guys because she was 'only' cheated and used by four guys already. They used her money and these four guys, she'll see them again at school and that bothers her so much. She don't feel love or hurt from guys anymore. Her heart is numb. It feels nothing. For guys. These four guys made Jessica a cold and heartless person. Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down. Every television, billboard, and magazine is covered with models. Models that are supposed to be role models, for us. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect life. I have none of those things. All my life I've never cared that I was over weight, and didn't wear makeup. Who knew a boy could change all of that? That's when I decided to starve myself, force myself to look like the girls in the magazines. Who knew all I was doing was slowly killing myself? The Unwanted Life
"Did you want this life?" I got this question a couple times in my life. And every single time someone would ask me this question, I would simply say yes just to spare them the depressing details of my life. I hated lying, but naturally we wouldn't just come out and tell people our whole entire life story. Well, I'm done lying. I'm Savannah Hernandez, 17, and I lived out my life in fear and sadness. I couldn't go one day without looking in my closet and thought, "hm, what outfit isn't going to expose my scars and bruises". That was the life I lived. I have two little sisters, Brianna being 16, and Isabella being only 6. Everything I did was revolved around protecting them. Whether it was a scrape on their knee or my mom and her boyfriends constantly abusing us. This has been going on since I was about 13 years old, and I hated my mother for that. She abandoned us, she drank alcohol daily, and slept with every guy she could get her hands on. I've been living with the mantra "everything happens for a reason." But now I'm not so sure. I still, to this day, could never understand why I was given this life. So, when asked the question, "did I want this life?" No. It was completely and absolutely Unwanted.
