Stefan, Damon and Katherine all forgot to mention one key thing when explaining the story behind their love triangle - that Katherine had a twin sister.  Elizabeth Pierce finds her sister and the Salvatore brothers, and things begin going wrong - because Katherine and Elena weren't the only dopplegängers of Amara to have the Salvatore brothers falling for them.

This story is based on the characters seen in the television series, assuming Katherine hasn't been reunited with Nadia yet, and Caroline and Tyler are together, and Bonnie is the anchor.
