Seventeen year old Amber-Kate Rhys is born in 2079 She had always been on the run. You would think that in the future, life would be better. Right?
Wrong! Humanity falls. Unless you have two million saved you are pretty much done.
The government only pays attention to those who can keep themselves alive. Amber-Kate lost her family to said government. Their death was covered up and made to look like a car crash.
But Amber-Kate knows the truth.
She gets mixed up with a gang who hates the government just as much. She knows the risks of staying with them. She knows that they are wanted murderers. What she doesn't know, is that they've made a device. A time traveling device.
She gets caught in the energy and is teleported back in time to 2012. Before the government fell. Before America fell to communism. She's lost, scared, hurt, and disoriented. And not in her time.
There's a voice in her head who claims to be named Noah-James. He meets her and together they find out there's only one way back.
Neither are willing.
Will there be a love that won't last? Or will Amber-Kate choose freedom over a life she belongs in?
