Gin comes from a long line of sighted, humans that can sense those of the supernatural side of our universe. Only she's the chosen one of her family, each line producing one each generation. She has a special calling to stand up and fight the evil that threatens others. Gin is used to fighting alone to protect others. Soon, she'll meet her soulmate, a special partner chosen to help her fight for the rest of her life, and face an evil she's never come across before.
Owen is Gin's younger brother, also sighted, but otherwise completely human. Thankfully. He likes to help behind the scenes, putting his brain to work to help his sister. His days involve hacking, eating and staying home, all his favorites. The only snag for him is the bear-like demon that he accidentally put a love-slave bracelet on, making him utterly devoted to Owen. Whether Owen likes it or not.
