Each of their civilizations had something to gain from this momentous discovery; millennia-old problems seemed to disappear with another's technology. However, as exciting as it was to travel between planets something went ignored. Foreign organisms devoured natural plant life causing an imbalance in ecosystems and inevitability destroying planets.
