Ballad of the Old Century tells the story of six monarchs been unknowingly manipulated by a dark mysterious force of nature, leading them to make decisions entirely founded on fear.

It also follows six generals, whose lives are forever changed by the choices of the monarchs to whom they have sworn allegiance.

As the story unfolds, alliances are forged and broken, destinies become irreversibly entwined, and the fabric of power itself is reshaped in a world teetering on the brink of chaos.
