Alannah Valos had a power. Just like her mother, Alannah could drift through realms and back with just a single thought. 

Each realm Alannah would enter, she would discover an entirely different world. It was as if she had stepped into a dream, with different eras and creatures of all different shapes and sizes. Some creatures would have great powers and talents, while others would hold great terror and heartache. 

But with this gift, came a great but deadly warning: Those who die in one realm will have their spirit and body drift into another, never to be able to return again. 

And, as the fates had planned, that is what happened. Alannah's mother fell ill to a deadly disease, her frail body slowly losing touch before finally she passed away, her body travelling to the next realm. Left all alone at a young age, Alannah decided she was going to find her mother, no matter what.

Alannah enters a new realm only to discover a Cruel King who subjects all the eligible women to a deadly tournament. Four deadly trials: Strength- Only the strongest will stand; Intelligence- to prove you are worthy; Endurance- to show you can be put through anything and survive. The final trial will break even the coldest of hearts, and those who fail will be eliminated on sight.
