When the The Baden siblings move to Washington, they are the happiest they've ever been, running away from their cold past and starting new. The eldest sibling, Mekhi, got a well-paying job in Washington and brought His brother, Ethalon, and his sister, Jericho along with him so they don't have to stay with their abusive and alcoholic parents.
When Ethalon and Jericho go to their brand new schools, they each meet siblings of the Torres family, probably the closest family you will ever meet, Zara, Zayla, Zane, Zyra, Zoey, and Zeke. Ethel meets Zyra, a grade below him, when they meet, sparks fly immediately. But when Ethel meets her twin brother, Zane, there might be more than just sparks between them, there's fireworks, there's a huge explosion, but will they ever realize it?
The first friend Jericho makes in Junior High is Zoey of the torres family, they become best friends. They become the closest best friends. But when the teenage hormones start kicking in between both of them, there's feelings between both of them that neither of them can contain.
"So this is it then," Aaron Knowles spoke softly, "this is where it ends."
He didn't even respond. Instead Caleb Jefferson rushed towards him, wrapping his arms tightly around Aaron's middle. The month they had spent together had felt like a lifetime, and now it was being ripped away from them.
"I'm gonna miss you," Caleb whispered, his breath lingering on Aaron's neck.
Aaron nodded, his hand resting in Caleb's shaggy, blond hair. "Me too," he answered, his voice coming out just as soft.
"Thank you for a great summer," Caleb tried his hardest to smile, blinking away any tears that threatened to fall. And in that moment the world seemed to pause. Aaron took a step forward, placing a hand under Caleb's chin before moving in closer. Their lips connected for what should have been the final time.

It was only supposed to be a summer fling, yet summer had ended and they were both still there.
A story told including flashbacks and drama, Caleb attempts to find his way back to Aaron. But things aren't as easy now that summer is over.
