"Dammit woman, talk to me," Zach pulls at his hair in frustration; his eyes never leave my face. There is a hint of sadness in his voice but other than that, he sounds cynically mad. I shake my head no, with my gaze still on the floor. Suddenly, he tips my chin with his index finger to make my eyes meet his. "Is it true?" he grits out, "That you can't speak?" I try to blink the unshed tears away and focus on my breathing. Yes. . . . He has been searching for her. He wants his revenge. Fate makes it easier for him. Out of the blue, the woman who broke him falls right at his lap. The only problem is- she already is broken beyond repair. Does he have the heart to break an already broken girl he once loved? Feelings start resurfacing and, secrets become unveiled. Will Zach ever find out the real victim in all of this? Or will it be too late? . . . "Look," he said sternly, his green eyes blazing with anger as he looked down at the small woman before him. The dark skin that covered her body made him want to reach out and lose himself completely in her beauty and those dark chocolate eyes weren't helping. He gave a frustrated sigh when she stared up at him with an innocence only she would have. "I don't like this anymore than you do, but for the time being you're going to have to stay with me, just until the chaos dies down." She crossed her perfectly toned arms across her small chest and frowned. "This isn't my fault," she huffed, "You lied to me. I - I didn't know you were famous!" - - - What was meant to be a simple one night stand just to show her friends that she wasn't always a goody two shoes ended up turning her life upside down thanks to a certain rockstar. But who said her life was perfect in the first place? After five years and a thousand regrets, two old lovers meet again.. "What kind of stunt are you pulling out this time?" I see his eyes blaze in blue fire. And I think I saw regret flash, too, before he blinks it gone. "I am going to win you back." he states as if those are the most natural thing in the world. As if it was as easy as ABC. He went behind his table and sits like a king. He looks at me from head to toe. Did I just saw love in those eyes? But it's too quick; I even thought I only imagined it. "And do you think, buying the company I am working at will help you with your fucking mission on Earth?" I snap taking two steps forward. He stands up, and put both of his hands in the table and lean his body closer to me, putting his weight on his palms. So close, I can even smell his cologne that mixed so naturally with his aftershave. It reminds me of summer. Of him. Of the love we'd shared.

"Mommy am I your child?" My mom looked down and chuckled at me. "Of course you are Theo." She said continuing to cut the vegetables that I hated. "Then why do we have different skin?" I blurted. I was five at the time and I didn't know any better. "Who said that?" She asked looking at me concerned. She knew I wouldn't have thought that on my own. I was always perfectly happy with everything. "This kid Matt. He said his mommy thinks you're weird because we're two different skins." I said coloring in my book. "Well don't listen to what people say. Love doesn't discriminate."
